As with all medications, Exforge® may cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

More common side effects:

• Peripheral oedema, with a slightly higher incidence than lower-dose formulations
• Headache and facial flushing
• Tiredness and dizziness

Less common side effects:

• Palpitations or rapid heartbeat
• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• Serious side effects, rare:
• Marked low blood pressure
