Worried after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure? Emergency contraception may help.
Anlitin | Emergency Contraceptive Pill
Anlitin is an emergency contraceptive medicine containing levonorgestrel, a progestogen hormone. It is used as an emergency contraceptive option after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure, such as a broken condom.
It works mainly by helping to delay or inhibit ovulation, making it more difficult for an egg to be released. It may also thicken cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to pass through, and may affect the uterine environment.
Please note that Anlitin cannot terminate an existing pregnancy and should not be used as a regular contraceptive method.
Ingredient
Each tablet contains levonorgestrel 1.5 mg.
Directions for Use
For adult women: take one tablet orally within 72 hours after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. The sooner it is taken, the more effective it is likely to be.
This medicine must be taken according to your doctor’s instructions.

Effects on Menstruation
Emergency contraceptive pills may cause your next period to come earlier or later than expected, or may change the menstrual flow. In most cases, menstruation occurs within around one week of the expected date.
If your period is delayed by more than 7 days, or if you have symptoms of pregnancy, take a pregnancy test as soon as possible.
